Join us for a night of live music on Thursday, 12/23 with the Daniel Villarreal Group from 7-9:30p. Panamanian drummer, bandleader, and DJ Daniel Villarreal has become a solid fixture in the Chicago music scene. His group fuses his worldwide influences with deep funk grooves, exploring psychedelic percussive sounds and free improvisation to create a uniquely hipnotic soundscape. His debut album will be released early 2022 on the International Anthem record label.

Daniel is also a founding member of the band Dos Santos, half of the duo Valebol with Vivian McConnell, and a member of the Son Jarocho group Ida Y Vuelta.
